Danbury resident Anthonie Ogilvie was arrested on Monday, Jan. 28 after failing to show up in court for aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dating back to an incident last year.
According to police, on Dec. 18 last year, Ogilvie failed to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on the original charge, and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. On Jan. 28, Ogilvie surrendered himself to police custody and he was placed under arrest.
Ogilvie, 22, was arrested and processed at the Yorktown Police Department on charges that include bail jumping and the underlying charge of aggravated unclosed operation of a motor vehicle. He was unable to post $1,000 cash bail or $1,500 bond and was remanded to the Westchester County Jail. Ogilvie is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Tuesday, Jan. 29 to respond to the charges.
